About Spanish for Executives

The Story

Spanish for Executives was founded in London in 2017 with a simple belief: Language alone is not enough.

After years working across international organisations, government institutions and global brands, we saw that success in Spanish-speaking environments requires far more than "fill the gaps" and grammar. 

The professionals who thrive are not always those with the most perfect language. They are the ones who understand people, build trust, navigate cultural nuances and communicate with credibility. International business is ultimately about people. Opportunities emerge through conversations. Partnerships are built on trust. Influence comes from understanding not only what to say, but how, when and why to say it.

Spanish for Executives was created to bridge the gap between language learning and professional impact. Because language opens doors. Influence creates opportunities.

Meet the Founder

Founder & Director of Spanish for Executives, María combines international business experience with expertise in communication, education and cross-cultural engagement. Her academic background includes an International MBA, a Research Fellowship at Harvard University and postgraduate training in adult language education through Instituto Cervantes and Roehampton University. She is an accredited examiner for internationally recognised DELE / SIELE language qualifications and a Business Mentor. 

Before founding Spanish for Executives in 2017, María built her career across organisations including the Embassy of Spain in London, ICEX Spain Trade & Investment, Diageo, Time Inc. and Barceló Hotels. 

She is actively engaged with professional and international communities that support education, leadership and global dialogue.

Our Approach
